Amey Secure Bridges Contract

Amey have successfully bagged a £240m contract to supply specialist bridge inspections and maintenance to the Avon & Severn Bridges.

The contract starts in November 2020 and lasts until 2035.

Amey will manage the M5 Avonmouth Bridge, the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge and the M48 Severn Bridge.

Amey will carry out cyclic maintenance, structural inspections, incident response and safety patrols across the 5,000 metres of bridges.

Ameys successful partnership with Highways England continues with the ongoing Area 7 and Area 10 Highway Contracts.
